“He” is actually a heifer which means its a girl and will be a dairy cow. The “slave number” is a number which is used in a way that the farmer(who actually cares about his cows) can give this calf proper care and nutrition as it grows into a healthy cow. I wish people could spend a day on a farm. Oh, and the calves barely feel the ear tag being put in place.
